Important
Message Types are the foundation: Before you can extract business data with Search Fields, you must first configure Message Types in the Repository Model. Message Types define the business transaction types (Orders, Invoices, Shipments) that enable Search Field expressions to identify and extract data correctly.
The complete workflow:
- Message Types (Repository Model) - Define business transaction types first
- Search Fields - Configure expressions to extract Order IDs, Customer Numbers, etc.
- Log Views - Enable business users to search by extracted business data
- BPM - Correlate transactions end-to-end across your integration landscape
- Non-Events Monitoring - Automatically detect missing or delayed messages
Sub-menu Items
The following sub-menu items empower you to tailor your logging and monitoring experience:
- Log Views – Control access to logged events and define what options are available for different user groups, ensuring secure and role-based visibility. Log Views power Non-Events Monitoring and Business Process Modeling (BPM).
- Search Fields – Define what data to extract from events and context properties, enabling advanced search, correlation, and end-to-end tracking across your integrations. Search Fields are essential for Non-Events Monitoring, BPM, and business intelligence.
- Log Agents – Manage the sources from which Nodinite Log Events originate, supporting a wide range of integration scenarios and data sources.
