Categories Overview
The Categories page displays the complete list of defined Categories. Each Category represents a technical resource type — such as Send Ports, Logic App, or Windows Services — and collects all Resources of that type discovered by Monitoring Agents.
Category names are automatically populated by the [Monitoring Service][] when syncing Resources from Monitoring Agents. They are read-only. In Mapify, the Category is shown as the type label on each Resource leaf node in the navigation tree.
An extensive list of Categories can be narrowed down by typing characters into the filter text box or by selecting a specific Monitoring Agent.
You can edit (to set the Link property) and delete records.
