Add or manage Time Interval
Add and manage custom time intervals in Nodinite to control how far back self-service users can access data in Log Views, and how often Monitor Views resend recurring alerts. Time Intervals optimize search performance and enhance compliance by setting precise time-based restrictions.

A Time Interval consists of a Quantity and a Unit. On its own, a Time Interval does nothing; you put it to work in a Time Interval Configuration (search windows in Log Views, recurring User Notifications) or as the resend interval per state in a Monitor View's alert recurrence.

Mandatory Fields
Quantity: A positive integer (1-n).
Unit: One of the pre-defined values:
- Seconds
- Minutes
- Hours
- Days
- Weeks
- Months
- Years
Seven units are available, from Seconds to Years.
For example, the Quantity '42' and the Unit 'Minutes' represent a time span of 42 minutes.

Description: A user-friendly description to clarify the purpose of the interval.
Add or Edit
To add a new Time Interval, click the Add Time Interval button in the Time Intervals Overview. To edit an existing Time Interval, select it from the list and click the Action | Edit button. Click Save or Save and close to persist your changes.
Warning
Changing or deleting a Time Interval affects every Time Interval Configuration and Monitor View that uses it.
