Customize Sidebar Menu Item
On this page, a Nodinite Administrator learns how to navigate and manage the Customize sub-menu within the Administration sidebar, as seen in the Nodinite Web Client. This sub-menu includes five items: Display Field Configurations, Stylesheets, Time Intervals, Time Interval Configurations, and Tags.

These settings are commonly used with Log Views, Monitor Views, and alerts in Alarm Plugins. Tags also apply to Articles and to C4 Diagrams.

C4 Diagram Sets aren't part of Customize. The list lives under Repository → Diagram Sets (the C4 Diagram Sets link on the Mapify card in the Administration Overview opens it too); their documentation stays in this folder.

Customize building blocks (blue) feed the operational views business users work in (teal), the alerting and notification features (orange), and the Repository Model and Mapify content such as Articles and C4 Diagram Sets (purple).

- Stylesheets - Manage Stylesheets used within Log Views and alerts for Alarm Plugins in use with Monitor Views
- Time Intervals - Manage time units used within Time Interval Configurations and Recurrence for alerts
- Time Interval Configurations - Manage the set of time units in use as restrictions within Log Views
- Tags - Organize and categorize Log Views, Monitor Views, Articles, C4 Diagrams, and Diagram Sets
C4 Diagram Sets are managed under Repository → Diagram Sets instead; the Mapify card in the Administration Overview also links to that list.

Who may change these items is controlled by Roles: Customize items are managed by members of the built-in Administrators Role, while access to individual C4 Diagram Sets follows the Permission Set for C4 Diagram Sets.
