System Parameters
System Parameters are global configuration settings that control the behavior of Nodinite services and features across your entire environment.
What are System Parameters?
System Parameters are centralized configuration values stored in the Configuration Database that define how Nodinite operates. These settings affect all services, features, and users in your installation.
Key benefits:
- Centralized control – Manage all global settings from one location in the Web Client
- Service-wide impact – Changes apply to all Nodinite services and features
- No tool dependencies – Configure directly in the Administration portal (no deprecated tools required)
- Version 7.1.0+ enhancement – Web-based management replaces the deprecated Install and Update Tool

Important Changes in Version 7.1.0
Important
In Nodinite 7.1.0, System Parameters can be managed directly in the Web Client Administration portal. Previously, this required the Install and Update Tool (now deprecated).
