How It Works
The value applies to every User of the instance; it is not set per user. Enter a HEX colour code, for example #c33d34. The HTML colour picker helps you find one.

The EnvironmentColor System Parameter with a HEX colour code.
Choosing a Value
Pick one colour scheme for all your environments and use it consistently:

Red, e.g. #c33d34 |
Signals caution: live data |
Test, QA |
Blue or green, e.g. #2678BD |
Calm, clearly not production |
Demo |
Orange, e.g. #E47528 |
Draws attention |
Dev |
Grey | Neutral |
- Use a distinct, high-contrast colour for production and neutral colours elsewhere.
- Keep the header text readable: avoid very light colours.
- Leave the value empty to use the standard header colour.
