ReservedArticleTagNames - System Parameter
New 7.11
ReservedArticleTagNames is a System Parameter that lists the reserved tag names Nodinite never copies onto a new Snippet when an author uses Create Snippet from Selection in an Article. It keeps tags with a special meaning, such as those that mark seeded examples or Templates, from spreading onto every Snippet.

How It Works
Create Snippet from Selection prefills the new Snippet's tags from the source Article's tags, and skips every tag whose name is in ReservedArticleTagNames. The match is by tag name, not by tag id: adding Confidential reserves every tag named Confidential.
The list only filters this automatic prefill:
- Tags already on existing Snippets or Articles stay where they are.
- An author can still add a reserved tag manually.
- The tag merge dialog in Snippets is not affected.
