Reports and Power BI

Build reports on your Nodinite data with any tool that reads JSON over HTTPS, using the Web API. The Web API returns the same Log Events, monitoring data, and Repository Model entities that users see in the Web Client, limited by the Role of the caller.

You can create reports with:

• Microsoft Excel
• Microsoft Power BI
• QlikView
• Any client that consumes JSON data

Connect Your Reporting Tool

• Find the operations in Scalar at the root of the Web API site; see Manage the Web API.
• For scheduled, unattended refreshes, sign in with OAuth 2.0 Client Credentials; inside your domain, Windows Authentication also works.
• Give the report account a Role with read access to only the data you report on.
