Uninstall Web Client
The Nodinite Web Client ships with the Core Services package, so it is uninstalled together with the other Core Services. You uninstall when you need to start over during an install or update, or when you decommission a Nodinite environment. The complete procedure is in Uninstall Nodinite v7.
How to Uninstall
Run the CLI uninstall command from an elevated PowerShell 7 prompt in the extracted ZIP bundle root; see Uninstall commands. It removes the Core Services, including the Web Client, but not the agents. Use the Remove Database option only when you also want to delete the databases, or Remove complete environment to tear everything down.
Cleanup for the Web Client
After uninstalling, check what the Web Client may leave behind:
| Item | What to check | Guidance |
|---|---|---|
| IIS web site and application pool | The Web Client site, its application pool, and its HTTP/HTTPS bindings are gone | IIS Application Pool Cleanup |
| TLS certificate | Remove the certificate if no other site uses it | Certificate Cleanup |
| Firewall rules | Remove the inbound rule for the Web Client port | Firewall and Network Cleanup |
| Service accounts | Remove the Web Client identity if nothing else uses it | Windows Service Accounts and Permissions |
| OpenID Connect app registration | Remove the Web Client app registration in Microsoft Entra ID when decommissioning | Azure AD (Entra ID) Cleanup |
| HTTP SPNs | Remove HTTP SPNs registered for the Web Client hostname when decommissioning | HTTP SPN for IIS |
Important
Complete the post-uninstall cleanup before you install again in the same place, or when you decommission Nodinite.
Note
Nodinite v6 is no longer supported. To move an existing v6 installation, follow Updating from v6 to v7.
