Systems Overview

Unlock clarity, control, and confidence in your integration landscape.

The Systems Overview is your anchor for managing, documenting, and monitoring all business systems involved in integrations. By mapping your real-world systems in Nodinite, you gain:

  • ✅ A single source of truth for all systems in your integration landscape
  • ✅ Instant visibility into which integrations, endpoints, and services touch each system
  • ✅ Fast troubleshooting and impact analysis—know what breaks if a system is down
  • ✅ Centralized documentation, monitoring, and reporting
  • ✅ Custom fields and metadata for business context, compliance, and ownership

In the Systems Overview, you see a sortable list of defined Systems. Quickly narrow down large lists by typing in the filter text box.

Why use Systems?

Most integration solutions are complex, involving many business systems, applications, and partners. Without a clear map, maintenance is hard, troubleshooting is slow, and onboarding new team members is a pain.

Systems in Nodinite solve this by:

  • Linking business context to technical integrations
  • Making it easy to answer questions like:
    • What integrations touch System X?
    • Which endpoints belong to System Y?
    • Who owns System Z?
    • What happens if System X is offline?
  • Enabling proactive monitoring and reporting

How does it work?

Below is a simplified diagram showing how Systems relate to Integrations, Endpoints, and Services:

flowchart TD S[System] --> I[Integration] I --> E[Endpoint] S --> SV[Service] S -->|Custom Fields & Metadata| CF[Business Context] I --> MV[Monitor View] E --> MV SV --> MV

Systems are the anchor. Integrations, Endpoints, and Services are mapped to Systems. Monitor Views provide health status. Custom Fields add business context.
