Link an Article to the Systems and Integrations it documents
New 7.12
You documented an integration; now let its owners find the Article from the integration itself. Link your Article to the Systems, Integrations, and other Repository Model entities it describes, and every Repository list shows it as a badge that opens the Article in place.
- ✅ Link an Article to Systems, Services, Integrations, Contracts, Message Types, Endpoints, and Domains
- ✅ See the Article badge on each linked row in the Repository lists
- ✅ Read the Article over the list, without leaving it

Animated walkthrough: pick Contoso ERP on the Systems card, save, and open the runbook from its badge on the Systems list.
When you need this
The Article documents an integration or a system, and you want its owners to land on it from the Repository, not only from a Monitor View.
What you need
- The Article open in the editor, with Modify on Articles; see Write a knowledge base Article.
Do it
Below the Categories, Applications, and Resources cards (Show an Article next to what it documents), the editor has a card for each kind of Repository entity: Systems, Services, Integrations, Contracts, Message Types, Endpoints, and Domains.
- Click Edit on a card, for example Systems.
- Filter the list, and tick the entities the Article documents. Selected shows what you've ticked so far.

The same picker on every card; here, picking a Domain. - Click Confirm and close. The card lists the entity; removes it again.
- Click Save.
The cards are on Articles only. Snippets, Templates, and Document Profiles have a Usage card instead.
What you'll see
The Systems, Services, Integrations, Contracts, Message Types, Endpoints, and Domains lists show an Article badge on each linked row. With one Article, the badge opens it right away; with more, it lists them with their count. The Article opens over the list, in the same reader as in Monitor Views. The entity's own page also lists it on its Articles card.
Linking doesn't create a new revision; only changes to the title, text, content type, or Document Profile do.
If it doesn't work
- There's no Repository entity card. You're editing a Snippet, Template, or Document Profile; the cards are on Articles only.
- The entity isn't in the list. It may be deleted; tick Include deleted, or ask its owner to restore it.
