Plug and Play! The Nodinite Azure Monitoring Agent discovers your API Management Services and their related artifacts automatically.
How It Works
The Azure Monitoring Agent uses the Azure REST API to discover each API Management Service in the configured subscriptions, and presents the service and its artifacts as Resources in Categories. The agent evaluates their state and reports it to the Monitoring Service, and your Monitor Views show the result in the Web Client.

Feature Reference
The quick sheet below lists the features for monitoring Azure API Management Service resources. Nodinite Users interact with these through self-service Remote Actions and get an instant online health-check.
| # | Monitoring | Managing | Actions |
|---|---|---|---|
| API | Monitoring | Managing | Details Edit Test API |

As an Administrator with access to Monitoring Agents, you add the subscriptions to monitor and turn monitoring on or off with Remote Configuration; see the Configuration guide.
Logging Azure API Management
Monitoring tells you whether the API Management Service and its artifacts are healthy. To log the actual API requests and responses, use a policy that sends Log Events to Nodinite. These separate guides cover API Management logging:
- Azure API Management logging overview
- Log through an Event Hub
- Log through Blob Storage
- Log directly to the Log API
- Network restrictions for API Management logging
- Reduce Azure API Management logging costs
Create the Event Hub Logger that your policy uses with the Create Event Hub Logger Remote Action, then manage it from the Managing Event Hub Logger page. The Pickup Service reads the events from the Event Hub; you monitor that Event Hub with Monitoring Event Hub.
