Manage Monitoring of Certificates in Azure
Take control of your Azure Certificates with Nodinite. This guide shows you how to manage monitoring, perform Remote Actions, and give your team secure, role-based access, without granting direct Azure Portal access.
- ✅ Receive alerts for ageing certificates before certificate expiry hits your business
- ✅ Give business and support teams secure, self-service management
- ✅ Monitor certificates across Azure, Windows, and Web Services
- ✅ Streamline compliance and reduce risk with centralized control
Use Nodinite to manage, monitor, and secure your Azure Certificates for business continuity and operational excellence.
Start with Monitoring Azure Certificates if you want the monitored certificate scope and threshold rules before you use the Details and Edit actions below.
Azure deploys Certificates to different types of services. You manage two main collections:
- Azure Certificates in general – this guide.
- Certificates deployed to Azure API Management Services – see the Monitoring API Certificates guide and the Managing API Certificates guide.
Nodinite also monitors Certificates for these additional use cases and environments:
- Windows Certificates – Monitor Windows Server Certificates (X.509).
- Web Service Certificates – Monitor certificates used by Web Applications, Web Services, and APIs for HTTPS.
- Key Vault – Monitor Keys, Secrets, and Certificates stored in Azure Key Vaults.
Delegate management and insights for selected Certificates in Azure to your business and end-users. Nodinite Monitoring gives support and maintenance teams actionable data for root cause analysis, without direct Azure Portal access. This approach reduces attack vectors and minimizes risk for mission-critical services.
Diagram: The Nodinite Azure Agent monitors certificates across subscriptions, key vaults, functions, web sites, and other services; API Management Services certificates have separate monitoring.
