Support for all your Azure SQL Databases is provided using the Database Monitoring Agent. Nodinite empowers you to proactively manage your cloud data platform, reduce downtime, and streamline operations.
Configuration
To monitor your Azure SQL Databases, configure a connection to your Azure SQL Database instance using the Remote Configuration feature. Each configured database connection becomes a monitored Resource in Nodinite.

Example of Remote Configuration dialogue for adding an Azure SQL Database connection.
Configure the following settings:
- Connection String – Azure SQL Database connection string with authentication credentials
- Database Name – Name of the Azure SQL Database to monitor
- Monitoring Categories – Select which monitoring features to enable (Size Checks, SQL Statements)
Note
Azure SQL Database does not support SQL Server Agent job monitoring. Job monitoring is only available for on-premises SQL Server instances.
