Stop action for Host Instance

Find out how You can use the Web-based Administration console (Web Client) of Nodinite to Stop BizTalk Server Host Instances.

A User has access to manage the BizTalk Host Instance using Role based Monitor Views where Remote Actions are allowed.

How do I Stop a BizTalk Server Host Instance?

To Stop a BizTalk Server Host Instance, press the Action button menu item on the selected row in the list of BizTalk Server Host Instances:

Next, the User will be prompted to confirm intent to perform the Stop operation.

Then, the result of the operation will be displayed for the User:
Stopped result

When the Host Instance is stopped, it will be evaluated as being in the Error state:
Host Instance is Stopped

Important

A stopped Host instance does not route/process messages and/or run Orchestration Instances.

Auto Healing

It is possible to have Nodinite issue the Stop command automatically for you, and this topic is further detailed in the Auto Healing user guide. This feature can be utilized to keep selected BizTalk Server Host Instances in the intended run-time state.
