Monitoring Mule ESB Endpoints

Monitor the status of Mule ESB Endpoints. The Nodinite Mule ESB Monitoring Agent creates one Resource for each endpoint found in the Mule ESB Server Instance. These are then available for end-users in one or more role-based Monitor Views.

What is evaluated for the Mule ESB Endpoints?

The different possible evaluated states for your Mule ESB Endpoints are provided in the table below:

State Status Description Actions
Unavailable Service not available If the server can't be reached and evaluated either due to network or security-related problems Review prerequisites
Error Error state raised The 'Endpoint' is in the disconnected state Connect
Disconnect
Warning Warning state raised Not implemented N/A
OK Online The 'Endpoint' is in the connected state Connect

Tip

The evaluated state may be reconfigured using the Expected State functionality on every Resource within Nodinite.


Actions

For Mule ESB Endpoints the Mule ESB Monitoring Agent has support for the following Remote Actions: Remote Actions
Here's an example of Remote Actions available from the Actions button in the Monitor Views

Note

Depending on the user-defined synchronization interval set for the Mule ESB Monitoring Agent, there might be a delay before Nodinite [Web Client][]/Monitor Views reflects upon the change. Click the Sync All button (or on the dropdown for individual agent selection) to force Nodinite to request a resynchronization request.

Connects the Mule ESB Endpoint.
Connect Endpoint

The Mule ESB Monitoring Agent contacts the Mule ESB Server instance and connects the endpoint. The result appears on the screen.
Endpoint Connected

Disconnects the Mule ESB Endpoint.
Disconnect End Point

The Mule ESB Monitoring Agent contacts the Mule ESB Server instance and disconnects the endpoint. The result appears on the screen.
