5. How does Pickup Service handle network failures or Nodinite outages?

WCF applications write traces to file system (local or network share). [Pickup Service][] monitors folder continuously (10-second intervals default). If Nodinite [Log API][] unreachable (network outage, maintenance window, database upgrade), Pickup Service buffers trace files in folder for 1-7 days (configurable disk space limits). When Log API available again, Pickup Service resumes automatic consumption (oldest files first, FIFO queue). Zero data loss during outages. Monitor unconsumed file count/folder size with [File Monitoring Agent][] (alert if >5GB unconsumed = investigate Pickup Service status/network connectivity).
