Manage Monitoring of Subscriptions in Azure

Take full control of your Azure Subscription monitoring and management with Nodinite. This page guides you to empower your teams to add or remove Resource Groups, perform remote actions, and delegate access—securely and efficiently—without direct Azure portal access.

Use Nodinite to delegate management and provide insights into selected Subscriptions in Azure. Nodinite Monitoring gives your support and maintenance teams actionable data for root cause analysis—without requiring direct access to the Microsoft Azure Portal. By reducing access, you minimize attack vectors and lower the risk of disrupting mission-critical services.

Management Features

When you grant Remote Actions privileges for Resources in Role-based Monitor Views, you unlock these management features, grouped by Category:

As an Administrator with access to Configuration for Monitoring Agents, you can also:

Azure Subscription

Manage the set of monitored Resource Groups from the Subscription Details page.

The 'Azure Subscription' Category provides one Resource for each configured Subscription to monitor, using the specified display name as the Resource name.

The Subscription category provides Resources that display the evaluated monitored state according to built-in rules.

If you have permission to perform Remote Action, you can: Category:

To view the selected Subscription Resource and manage the set of monitored Resource Groups, click the Action button and then select the Details menu item within the 'Control Center' section.

Use the 'Details' action menu item to open the details modal for the selected Subscription.

Next, select the option to present the modal.
Subscription Details

Nodinite presents all available Resource Groups in the list. You enable or disable monitoring by checking (or unchecking) the row for each Resource Group.

Tip

You can narrow the list by typing characters in the filter text box.

Click the Save button to persist your changes.
