Uninstalling the Nodinite Azure Monitoring Agent
Use this guide to safely and efficiently uninstall the Nodinite Azure agent. Remove the agent using the installer or the Windows 'Add or Remove Programs' feature. Follow these steps to avoid common pitfalls and ensure a clean removal.

Remove the Monitoring Agents and applicable Resources from Monitor Views before you uninstall the agent.
If you uninstall the agent without first removing the Monitoring Agents, users receive error alerts. The Monitoring Agent Configuration also appears as unavailable in the list of Monitoring Agents.

Uninstall guide
Follow these steps to uninstall the Azure agent.
Step 1: Add or Remove Programs
Open the Windows 'Add or Remove Programs' feature to remove installed programs.

Step 2: Start the installer
Alternatively, double-click the MSI file to start uninstalling the Nodinite Azure agent.

Step 3: Welcome Screen
When you run the MSI file or start from 'Add or Remove Programs', the Welcome screen appears.

Click Next to continue or Cancel to exit the uninstaller.
Step 4: Change, Repair or Remove the installation
In the 'Change, repair or remove installation' dialog, click Remove to uninstall the agent and proceed.

If you did not stop the service before uninstalling, a dialog appears. Click 'Ok' to close and continue.

Step 5: Remove Program
Click Remove to remove the agent and continue.

Step 6: Completed setup
The final step of the uninstallation shows either a success or a premature exit.

Click Finish to exit the uninstaller.
