Manage Monitoring for Boomi Integrations

Manage the monitoring thresholds and perform administrative remote actions on Boomi Integrations for configured accounts.

Delegate the power to control all or individual Boomi Integrations artifacts to selected team members and the business. This feature helps the people involved in the support and maintenance team have the power to manage problems with your Boomi Integrations without having individual direct access to the AtomSphere portal. Limiting the number of attack vectors, and having fewer people with high access rights minimizes the risk of disruption of mission-critical services.

See Monitoring Boomi Integrations - Deployed Certificate for additional details about certificate monitoring, state evaluation, and thresholds.

Configuration

Certificate monitoring thresholds can be configured at two levels:

Global Settings - Configure default thresholds for all certificates in the Remote Configuration:

Certificate Configuration
Global certificate monitoring configuration showing Warning Days (60) and Error Days (30) thresholds in the Certificate tab.

Certificate-Specific Settings - Override thresholds for individual certificates by adding specific certificate configurations. Each certificate-specific entry allows you to:

  • Set custom Warning Days threshold
  • Set custom Error Days threshold
  • Add a Description explaining why custom thresholds are used
  • Target specific certificates by Name and Environment

Click the Add button to create a new certificate-specific configuration with custom thresholds.

Actions

The following Actions are available to users from Monitor Views with Deployed Certificates where Remote Actions are allowed:

Certificate Actions

View details for Deployed Certificate

You can view comprehensive details for the selected certificate. Click the Details menu item within the 'Control Center' section in the Actions button. Details Action for Deployed Certificate

The certificate details modal displays:

Certificate Details
Certificate details showing certificate information (ID, type, environment, location) and expiration status (expiration date, days until expiration, warning threshold, error threshold).

Certificate Information:

  • Certificate ID - Unique identifier of the certificate
  • Certificate Type - Type of certificate (e.g., X.509)
  • Environment - Boomi environment where the certificate is deployed
  • Location - Deployment location (e.g., Process, Atom)

Expiration Status:

  • Expiration Date - When the certificate expires (displayed in your local timezone)
  • Days Until Expiration - Days remaining before expiration (or days since expiration if already expired)
  • Warning Threshold - Days before expiration to trigger WARNING state
  • Error Threshold - Days before expiration to trigger ERROR state

Deployed Containers:

Expand the Deployed Containers section to view all atoms and containers where this certificate is deployed. This helps you understand the impact if the certificate expires.

Edit thresholds for Deployed Certificate

You can manage the monitoring thresholds by opening the Actions button and then click on the Edit threshold menu item.

Threshold Fields:

  • Warning Threshold (Days) - Number of days before expiration to show warning status
  • Error Threshold (Days) - Number of days before expiration to show error status
  • Description - Optional notes about why custom thresholds are configured for this certificate

You must click on the Save button to persist the changes. The certificate is now evaluated using the specific thresholds instead of global settings.

Note

When you save certificate-specific thresholds, a warning message confirms that this certificate will use specific settings instead of global settings. This helps prevent confusion about which thresholds are being applied.
