Enlist action for Send Port

This documentation page describes how to Enlist a BizTalk Server Send Port using the Nodinite BizTalk Server Monitoring.

From Monitor Views where you are granted access and where BizTalk Send Ports are included and Remote Actions are allowed You can use the Nodinite Web Client to Enlist selected BizTalk Send Port.

An Enlisted Send Port can be Unenlisted, Stopped or Started. There is no need to use the BizTalk Server Administration Console (MMC) to perform this administrative task.

How do I Enlist a Send Port?

To Enlist a BizTalk Server Send Port, press the Action button on the selected row:

The user will then be prompted with a question to continue the Enlist operation:
Confirm intent to Enlist (6.1.0.3)
Here's an example of a modal asking for confirmation from user to perform the Enlist operation.

Then, the result of the operation will be displayed for the user:
Enlist Action Success

Tip

A stopped port is the same thing (state) as an Enlisted send port.

If Enlisted, the BizTalk Server Send Port will be evaluated as being in the Warning state:
Enlisted Send Port
Here's an example of an Enlisted BizTalk Server Send Port; The resource is in the Warning state.
