Can I monitor Dynamics 365 On-Premises or only Dynamics 365 Online?

Dynamics 365 Online (Cloud) ONLY. The Monitoring Agent uses Dynamics 365 Web API (cloud-based REST API) which is not available for Dynamics CRM On-Premises (2011, 2013, 2015, 2016 versions).

For Dynamics CRM On-Premises

Use alternative monitoring approaches: Database Monitoring (monitor Dynamics CRM SQL Server database directly, track workflow execution via AsyncOperationBase table, monitor SystemUserBase for user logins), Web Services Agent (monitor Dynamics SOAP endpoints for availability), custom logging (modify workflows to write events to Nodinite Log API).

Hybrid Environments

Many enterprises run hybrid (Dynamics 365 Online for Sales/Service + On-Premises for legacy customizations). Monitor Dynamics 365 Online via this agent + On-Premises via Database/Web Services agents for complete visibility.
