How do I monitor 40+ services—do I need 40 agent licenses?

No. Nodinite monitors WSO2 per JVM, not per service. The JMX Monitoring Agent connects to each WSO2 server's JVM over JMX and reads CPU and heap memory. Whether a WSO2 server hosts 4 or 40 proxy services and APIs, it is one Application Host in the agent's Configuration.

What You Monitor

• One JMX Monitoring Agent can have several Spring Boot JMX Gateways, and each gateway many Application Hosts (Multi-JVM Monitoring).
• Each WSO2 Enterprise Integrator or Micro Integrator JVM is one Application Host.
• The JMX Monitoring Agent is the same agent you use for Boomi Atoms and other JVM workloads; there is no separate WSO2 agent to license.

The JMX Monitoring Agent is licensed as part of your Nodinite subscription. See Costs and Licensing for the agent and its open-source components, and ask your Nodinite contact about your plan.

If you also check individual services with the Web Services Monitoring Agent, that agent is part of your subscription in the same way.
