Managing configured APIs and Web Services

Manage monitoring thresholds and perform administrative remote actions on configured and monitored Web Services/APIs.

The Nodinite Web Service Monitoring Agent has the following features:

As an Administrator with access to Monitoring Agents from the Remote Administration dialogue, you can further manage:

  • Add and Remove Web Services/Web Applications
  • Enable and Disable Monitoring
  • Manage thresholds for timeout, response times
  • Manage evaluation of response
  • Manage expected HTTP response status codes
  • Manage certificate options

The Category 'Web Service' provides one Resource for each configured Web Service. The Resource is monitored.

Remote Actions

The following Remote Action exist:

Edit thresholds

Click on the Edit sub menu item of the Actions button to open a modal and edit the Monitoring thresholds:

The settings are essentially the same as the entry found in the global Configuration. You can not change the Name or the Application as these changes would change the Resource itself.
